After a long corporate career, Emma began retraining as a healthcare practitioner in 2009, initially focusing on reflexology and then acupuncture, graduating from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) with a BSc (hons).
ICOM is respected and unique in so far as its teachings integrate classical Chinese Medicine, contemporary acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Elements and Stems and Branches.
Emma holds an ITEC Diploma in Reflexlogy and was honoured to be part of the reflexology team at The Fountain Centre, based at the Royal Surrey Hospital Guildford, supporting patients and carers through cancer. She has specialist reflexology training relating to both pregnancy reflexology and cancer care.
Emma has been helping patients for over 10 years, originally setting up Eaton Acupuncture working in Great Bookham and The Medicine Garden in Cobham. Changing the clinic name to Cobham Acupuncture when The 225 Club became her permanent home.
She helps a wide range of patients aging from 7 to 97 presenting with a variety of symptoms. She has a special interest in support women experiencing negative impacting menopause related problems and working with patients on the fertility journey.
Emma is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and Association of Reflexologists (AoR)
After working as cabin crew for over a decade, and suffering from her own heath concerns, Rachel turned to acupuncture and was amazed with the results. It led her changing paths to study something she realised she was passionate about, helping others on their journey to find balance, calm and good health through complimentary practice.
She graduated from the prestigious International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) with a first class honours degree in Acupuncture, where she also learnt techniques such as cupping, cosmetic acupuncture, massage (ITEC Diploma) and Chinese Food Medicine food energetics.
